About the Author
Lauren Burmester, BCBA, LBA, IBA, CCTS-I
Lauren is the Founder and CEO of Adaptive Minds Neuroinclusive Services, an educational company creating inclusive, evidence-informed resources for children, families, educators, and therapists. Her work spans early intervention, parent coaching, behavior support, special education leadership, and individualized, strengths-based supports.
As an adoptive parent to an autistic child, Lauren believes programs should be thoughtfully designed to fit children, rather than asking children to fit into existing programs. Her mission is to help every child move, learn, communicate, and belong.
