You don’t have to do this alone.

The Burn Out Book Community is a private group for caregivers reading The Burn Out Book — a soft place to land with people who understand the 2 a.m. worries, the invisible work, and the love that holds it all together.

The Burn Out Book Community — a private space for caregivers

What’s inside

A little support, every week

Peer support & discussion

Share the wins, the hard days, and everything in between with caregivers who truly get it — no explaining yourself first.

Weekly check-ins

A gentle Monday prompt to set your intention for the week, and a Friday thread to notice what went right.

Free printables

Members-only extras: the permission slips from the book, new worksheets, and tools you can print at home.

Monthly live Q&A

Bring your questions and join Lauren live once a month — or watch the replay in your pajamas if that’s the day you’re having.

How to join

Three small steps

1

Get the book

Any format counts — paperback, hardcover, or ebook.

Order on Amazon
2

Ask to join

Tap the Join button, then answer the two quick membership questions: your order number (or a photo of your receipt) and one word for how you’re doing today.

3

Get approved

Lauren or a moderator approves new members, usually within 48 hours. Then say hello in the welcome thread — we’d love to meet you.

What counts as proof of purchase

  • Your order confirmation email
  • A photo of your receipt
  • A photo of the book’s copyright page

Our promise to each other

How we take care of this space

  • Kindness first. This is a soft place to land — criticism, judgment, and advice-dumping stay outside.

  • What’s shared here stays here. Members’ stories never leave the group.

  • We share experience, not medical advice. Talk with your own doctor or therapist about diagnosis and treatment.

  • No selling or promoting. This group is not the place for businesses, fundraisers, or research surveys.

  • Show up as you are. There is no required reading pace and no wrong way to be here.

If today feels like too much

If you’re having thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, please reach out right now: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741. This community is here for support — but it is never a substitute for real help. You matter.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Is the community really free?
Yes. It’s included with your copy of The Burn Out Book — no fees, ever.
How long does approval take?
Usually within 48 hours. If it’s been longer, check your message requests — sometimes Facebook hides our replies there.
I haven’t finished the book yet. Can I still join?
Absolutely. Come as you are — there’s no required reading pace here.
I lost my receipt. Can I still join?
Yes. A photo of the book’s copyright page works just as well, or simply tell us where you bought it.
Is the group private?
Yes. It’s a private group — only members can see posts, and nothing appears in public search.

Ready when you are.

The kettle’s on, and the door is open.
